When it comes to most voting issues, there is plenty of room for disagreement. However, Bond D isn’t like most issues. Everyone can agree that improving higher education is important and everyone has a stake in Bond D’s success. Even those who don’t attend a New Mexico college or university, those who don’t have loved ones currently in school or those who are already out of school have a stake in this issue. Since improving our institutions of higher learning can help improve so many other things, like creating higher paying jobs, growing the economy and moving the state forward, Bond D really does touch the life of every single New Mexican.

So this year when everyone is saying vote for this or that and you start finding it harder and harder to understand what side of the different issues you fall on, remember that Education Bond D isn’t political. It’s about the future of all New Mexicans. Bond D is simply the right thing to do.

On November 4, vote for Education Bond D.

It’s not political. It’s everyone’s issue.
